Mika Nakashima was all smiles on December 6th when she made a surprise appearance at Shibuya PARCO for the annual lighting of the Christmas tree. This year's theme is "Mika Nakashima Meets PARCO Shibuya XMAS Forest," which had decorations all in the form of purple ribbons and lotus flowers. There were roughly 600 people who gathered in the hall to watch the lighting and Mika warmly welcomed everyone. For 10 minutes, she performed her songs "Amazing Grace '05," "Yuki no Hana," and "Aishiteru." This is foreshadow to the wonderful Christmas gift which Mika receives early from her fans: Her first compilation album "BEST," debuted on the Oricon Charts in the No. 1 spot. Much congrats Mika!! |
