Yuna & Mika's Great Year
"NANA's" successful songstress, Yuna Ito, has just been signed to sing her very first TV drama theme song. The drama is from FujiTV called, "Unfair," which will be airing on January 10th 2006. It is a detective series that stars Ryouko Shinohara. So far, the song has been untitled and is set to be Yuna's second Japanese single to be released in February 2006. The song, which is more up-tempo and clubby, will be a good contrast to "Endless Story." Yuna also expressed that she loves Japanese dramas. She has about 18 days to have this song ready for the show.
Mika Nakashima has a wonderful reason to celebrate. Oricon unveiled the list of musicians that made the "Best Artist of 2005." Mika Nakashima took third place close behind Koda Kumi (1st) and Orange Range (2nd). This is on top of a great week where Mika's "BEST" album held 1st place on the Oricon charts for a whole week. Lastly Eiga.com reports that "NANA the Movie," which has only been in the theaters for three months, has become the 4th highest grossing Japanese movie of the year. Mika Nakashima's resume in the year 2005 is stellar!
