After aimlessly sending out emails to different Chinese and Japanese publishing companies for the past month, FINALLY someone replied! Bruce Kwan, a representative of "Kam & Ronson Enterprise Co Ltd," (same company that released the subtitled Densha no Otoko), emailed and informed me that the Overseas "NANA " movie will be released by their partner/branch company "PANORAMA." It will be published on both VCD and Region 3 DVD in Mid-March, with English and Chinese subtitles. From Bruce's email, it sounds like they're still working on the final details, and promised to email with more information. So those of you who were really worried about "NANA's" DVD release, now you have another option available to you! ^___^ Lastly, another huge congrats to Mika Nakashima! For the 10th Japan Internet Movie Award, she took home the "Best Actress Award" for her role in "NANA!" The results for this award was obtained through a huge nationwide voting poll on the internet. To ensure that the votes would be completely fair, the poll results were completely closed to the public until the final votes were totaled. Super congrats Mika!! Thanks to M for the info! |
